This study predicts the impacts of future climate changes on streamflow and water quality within the Kumho River Basin, South Korea, using Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT). This study used representative concentration pathway (RCP) 4.5 and 8.5 scenarios for Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) fifth assessment report (AR5) as future climate data. For the future Land Use/Land Cover (LULC) map, it is assumed that the future land use is constant as current land use (2000 LULC map). The results from simulation in the future periods (2030s, 2050s) shows that streamflow and total nitrogen (TN) load react very sensitively to seasonal change in precipitation. Moreover, water pollution in basin predicted to become very serious as inflow of nonpoint pollution. Therefore, it's required to address hydrologic and water quality characteristics depending on future climate change and predict space-time variability of water.
