Development of Mucoadhesive Films for Treatment of Oral Mucosal Wounds

摘要

Mucoadhesive films capable of sustained release of bioactive EGF were developed. Although EOF did not accelerate wound healing, but rather elicited ahyperparakeratotic response, the current system can be loaded with other desired compounds in conjunction with EGF to accelerate the process of wound healing.
