We design a dual-band THz absorber by combining a double split-ring metallic resonator with a graphene sheet sandwiched between two polymer spacers. An analytical model based on multiple interference theory is employed in order to analyze the absorption mechanism. Our results indicate nearly perfect absorption at both bands demonstrating polarization independence and wide angle of incidence performance. The absorbance of both peaks can be modulated by tuning the graphene Fermi level via electrostatic gating.
