This paper investigates the research of scholars from the needs of contemporary human-computer interaction and medical monitoring. These studies focus on the research and design of wearable sEMG acquisition systems, highlighting the portability of the system, the low power consumption and the high performance, including good noise removal performances, higher classification accuracy and low latency. The paper is mainly made of two parts: the surface myoelectric collection and the myoelectric-based control. The first part introduces the research progress of flexible electrodes, analog signal processing and digital filtering methods in recent years from the perspective of improving acquisition performances and reducing power consumption. The second part describes the feature extraction and pattern recognition algorithm for the sEMG-based control technology.
