The key frame extracting algorithm for record and analysis of psychological sand-play therapy video

Sand-play therapy is a very effective means of psychological counseling, but it has a very high demand for counseling technology and concentration of the counselors. If digital video processing technology is used to record videos and extract important events, it will greatly reduce the work of counselors and provide multiple help. Based on the analysis of the characteristics of sand-play therapy video analysis, this paper studied the existing video key frame extraction technology, implemented three key frame extraction algorithms and carried out in-depth experimental analysis. Finally, an improved key frame extraction method based on inter-frame correlation of RGB color space is proposed for sand-play therapy video recording, which achieves accurate key frame extraction and effectively reduces the number of redundant key frames.
