Fault Estimation in Finite Frequency Domain for Uncertain Networked Control Systems with Sensor Fault

This paper addresses the problem of sensor failure fault estimation for linear uncertain networked control systems with random packet dropouts and sensor failure fault, which belongs to multiplicative faults, and this problem has not been well investigated in the literature. The notion of finite-frequency stochastic H index is introduced to networked control systems. With the aid of finite-frequency stochastic H index, two finite-frequency stochastic H performance indexes are introduced to measure the robustness of the estimation errors which helps to track the sensor fault parameters, and sufficient conditions based on linear matrix inequalities guaranteeing the robustness of the estimation errors are subsequently derived. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is shown by numerical example.
