This paper deals with the robust stability analysis for uncertain systems with time-varying delay. A novel augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional is constructed by decomposing the delay interval [0, d (t)] into some variable sub-intervals and line integral technology. Using the novel augmented functional, the new delay-dependent stability criteria are proposed for linear systems with time-varying delay. All the stability criteria are formulated in the form of linear matrix inequality (LMI). Some numerical examples are given to show the less conservatism and applicability of the obtained results.
