摘要

The radial sand ridges field off the coastline of Jiangsu Province inChina owns the worldwide fame to its huge scale, unique shape andthe specific tidal hydrodynamic environment. In this paper by usingthe measured data of the domain for two large-scale hydrology andsediment tests which held by the offshore marine comprehensiveinvestigation and evaluation (908 special project for short), we firstanalyzed the characteristics of flow rates and discussed the plainvelocity distribution in this region, then adopted the factorstandardized flow rate in fitting the related vertical distribution andvalidated the measured data. Second, based on the sedimentconcentration data obtained by the simultaneous observation, weanalyzed the correlations between sediment concentration and tidalcurrent velocity for all of the stations in this region.
