PURPOSE: A seawater intake system suitable for seawater environment having ebb and flow of the tides is provided to prevent blockage of filter pores by reverse-washing filter sands filled in an intake station and to intake high quality seawater by maintaining performance of filter sands by collecting sludge generated when reverse-washing. CONSTITUTION: A seawater intake system(100) suitable for seawater environment having ebb and flow of the tides includes a water intake frame(110), a plurality of seawater intake pipes(120), an aeration pipe(130) and a sludge collection pipe(140). The seawater intake pipes are parallelly arranged in the lower side of the intake frame and have a dual pipe structure. The aeration pipe is arranged in the lower side of the seawater intake pipe and is fixed to the intake frame. The sludge collection pipe is arranged in the upper side of the seawater intake pipe, collects and removes sludge generated from the reverse-washing process simultaneously with the aeration pipe.
