Experiments to Add Values to Light Rail Transit in Toyama city by Smart ICT

摘要

The goal of our research is that we make a business model to revitalize the center of the city by Information and Communication Technologies. For this purpose, we have developed three kinds of systems which aim to add values for Light Rail Transit in Toyama city as follows: 1. Tram Signage System 2. Tram Augmented Reality System 3. Tram Location and Route Navigation System In this paper, we show the overview of these systems and the evaluation results of the experiments conducted since February 2012.
