One Software Solution for Safe Data Transmission via Broadr-Reach Interface

In order to see how autonomous cars take over our streets, one of the most important challenges for engineers are transmission, storage and manipulation of data. From the safety standpoint, data security in car networks has to be on much higher level in the automotive industry than it is in the consumer industry. It is necessary to provide additional safety barriers in order to secure data from malicious manipulation. This paper presents the design and implementation of safe data transmission from embedded board to the PC. Data encryption is necessary in order to secure safe communication. Data transmission is done via the BroadR-Reach interface and IPv6 protocol.
