We analyzed the nature of temporal fluctuations of wind speed by Higuchi's fractal dimension. The upward wind and east wind were nearly random because they were disturbed by the ground and a building before the anemometer,.respectively, and therefore hard to be predicted. The north wind was not random and is promising for prediction.
