摘要

The 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene (TNT) presents major secondary explosive which residuals are found at Serbian military ranges, military factories and demilitarization facilities. Natural mineral tufa is coated with nano copper and used as adsorbent for the removal of TNT from aqueous solution. Various adsorption isotherms and kinetic parameters were computed using batch adsorption experiments in order to determine the adsorption capacity for TNT and to understand the mechanism of adsorption.
