In the paper some numerical algorithms supporting the management of water networks are described. The algorithms are included as software modules into the structure of an integrated IT system whose general idea was presented in (Stachura et al., 2012). The system uses mathematical models and optimization algorithms for solving several tasks of operation and maintenance realized in municipal drinking water supply systems with the goal, to make their execution easier, faster and more exact. The research was financed by the Polish National Center of Research and Development (NCBiR) in frame of the project no. NR14-0011-10/2010.
