A two-dimensional Transmission Line Matrix (TLM) method has been used to calculate the radiation pattern of three-dimensional antennas that are nearly cylindrical. By applying the Spectrum of 2-Dimensional Solutions method (S2DS), the three-dimensional filed solutions can be obtained from numerically obtained two-dimensional solutions. This method has been employed on a linear array of longitudinal waveguide slots when radiating into an exterior structure and the results have been verified by measurements and other methods.
