摘要

In terms of material modification and removal capability, experimental data point to the key role played by different parameters during UV treatment such as atmosphere and dose. It appeared that the presence of a minimum concentration of reactive species such as oxygen radicals was necessary to allow a complete removal in the subsequent solvent strip. Polymer fragments and radicals formed first as a result of UV irradiation were subsequently saturated/oxidized by these species thus preventing them from recombination or cross-linking.
