The service trade has become more and more important, while the material life level has reached a certain level. Overall, the development of service trade is bound to contribute to economic development. However, the role of particular service sectors will vary. This paper is based on the data from 1998 to 2014. With the initial trend analysis, reclassifying 12 departments based on fund capital intensive, human capital intensive and knowledge capital intensive, this paper studied the influence of service trade structure on economic growth in China, by the vector autoregression model (VAR).
