摘要

Back-scattering and forward-scattering of radar signals from wind-park establishments are well known sources of distortion and interference in weather radar echoes. In this contribution, we suggest a scattering-physics based methodology i.e. a theoretical framework, for assessing and possibly mitigating such interferences. Such spurious signals may significantly degrade the quality of operational weather radar data recorded in areas important for weather prediction and monitoring.
