A fuzzy control system is analyzed and designed basing on a new hardware platform mixed-signal FPGA. Besides fuzzy control module, FPGA is also embedded with 8051, PWM, ADC. After analyzing the principle of fuzzy control module, it's divided into several modules according to the functional needs on the basis of this division the logic structure of all modules can be obtained. Then based on top-down design method, the fuzzy control module is designed with Verilog HDL, and the whole design is optimized and simulated successfully. Finally, the implementation of the fuzzy control system on a specific FPGA is given.
