TINY: A portable tool for nucleic acid quantification in resource limited settings

TINY is a system that delivers nucleic acid quantification capability to resource limited settings. It may be heated via sunlight, open flame, or hotplate (it can use, but does not require electricity). It is portable and uses inexpensive optical components. We test the device using extracted DNA samples from patients with Kaposi's sarcoma.
