摘要

A novel coordinate structure hybrid excitation synchronous generator (HESG) with AC excitation is proposed to solve the problem that the air-gap magnetic field of permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) is not easy to control. The structure and operation principle of the HESG are presented. Based on the mathematical model of HESG, the AC excitation field orientation vector control strategy is proposed and the system can achieve the optimal voltage adjustment with minimum electrical excitation electromotive force (EMF). The simulation model of HESG and its excitation control system are built and simulated with MATLAB/Simulink. The simulation results show that the system has good dynamic and steady-state performance, and the output voltage can keep constant when the load of HESG changes.
