Uplink visible light communication (VLC) research makes sense where radio frequency (RF) is not preferred. In the indoor environment, such as hospitals and aircraft cabins, the distance between users is relatively close so information is more easily eavesdropped. In order to improve the security of the VLC system, a security scheme adding artificial noise for uplink transmission is proposed in this paper. We design a special full-duplex (FD) transceiver that sends artificial noise to interfere the eavesdropper while receiving signal from the user. As the received signal suffers from reflected artificial noise, we first introduce the independent component analysis (ICA) method into the VLC system to eliminate the impact of artificial noise on the FD transceiver. The lower bound of the uplink secrecy rate in the VLC system based on ICA is deduced. Signal to noise ratio (SNR) of the eavesdropper and receiving end is also analyzed.
