Heat Stroke Prevention System for Young Athletes

摘要

We have developed a system to predict a risk of heat stroke occurring during extracurricular activities of middle and high school students. This system is based on Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) released by Ministry of the Environment in Japan, practice intensity, and the amount of water drunk by them. The characteristic of our developed system is that it enables to grasp the each amount of water drunk by a student in real time, which is deeply related to cause heat stroke, by making a plastic bottle Internet of Things (IoT) enabled.
