Interfaces and Stability in Halide Perovskite Solar Cells

In this paper, I give a brief summary over the current development of interface engineering in perovskite solar cells (PSCs) and the corresponding impact on device performance and stability. Principal loss mechanisms in the PSC can be attributed to imperfect interfaces. Aside from the key electronic properties at these interfaces, such as energy level alignment and band offsets, the device functionality is governed by the complex chemistry between the halide perovskite absorber and the adjacent functional layers.
