Innovation in Rock Mechanics: Iced Tailings As Structural Backfill for the Citronen Mine, Ironbark Zinc Ltd., Greenland

摘要

The use of iced tailings as structural mine fill has possible application to the proposed underground operations at the Citronen Zinc-Lead Project. Field data and laboratory data show compressive strength similar to other structural fill mine applications. Further study is required to determine the depth temperature and strength correlation.
