RESULTS from a prefeasibility study for development of Ironbark Gold Ltd's Citronen zinc-lead project in Greenland's far north indicate it could produce up to 1.1Mt of zinc over the first six years. The study, co-ordinated by consultant Ausenco, examined the viability of a 3Mt/y combined underground and open-pit operation, drawing the majority of feed (2.5Mt/y) from room-and-pillar underground methods. The operation would exploit resources at three deposits, two underground (Beach and Esrum) and one at surface (Discovery).
