The 19.2% efficiency laser doped selective emitter solar cells have been demonstrated by theapplication of modified emitter. The modified emitter illustrated its features with low surface concentration and deepjunction depth. The photoluminescence and WCT-120 measurement results show the enhanced performance of thismodified emitter in terms of higher effective lifetime and lower saturation current density, compared to standardemitter. Significant improvement on open circuit voltage (~1.6mV) and short circuit current density (~0.13 mA/cm~2),as well as less compensate of fill factor, have been achieved by the implement of this modified emitter. The duallayerpassivated LDSE cells with the modified emitter scheme show 19.14% efficiency in average while thechampion efficiency reaches 19.27%, and a 60-cell module with power output at 266.7W was realized.
