DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT OF VOLUMETRIC METHOD FOR LIQUID FLOW MEASUREMENT AT NIMT

The liquid piston prover equipped with the new data acquisition system was developed and tested at the National Institute of Metrology (Thailand) or called NIMT. The system comprises of the calibrator which is the piston prover, the data acquisition (DAQ), the frequency counter, the temperature transmitter and the function generator. These equipments are calibrated and traceable to the national standard. The data have been collected and executed by using programme. The water draw and master meter techniques are applied to validate this system and they show a good result. Moreover, the bilateral comparison shows the excellent result of the measurement that proof the measuring processes.
