Fatigue-Proof Intelligent Shoot-Right 3D Video Recording System - AUOSOME-3D

AUOSOME is an automatic 3D stereo filming system using two separate cameras. The purpose of AUOSOME is to solve problems encountered in the 3D filming process, make the filming process totally automatic and free of viewing discomfort and fatigue. In this work, we built up the system and provided many functions to make the captured video right and comfortable for watching. We performed an automatic camera positioning system to ensure a right shooting angle and adjust the disparities between two images to be in the comfort zone. A real-time stereo image correction process is performed, including color correction, horizontal alignment and rotation calibration. A comfortable real-time 3D live viewing experience can be achieved by AUOSOME system.
