A pixel structure named IPS-Pro-Next which realizing drastic reduction of power consumption has been proposed. The structure has a function of the transparent common electrode covering the TFT wirings via an insulating film. The superiority has been confirmed by developing 20" diagonal LCDs with a resolution of 4K2K.
