Design and implementation of security mechanisms for the N-Fi-based telematic system

Telematics is important for ITS implementations. However, security is the key issue whenimportant information or private data transmission among V2R (vehicle to roadside) evenV2V (vehicle to vehicle) wireless communication. The objective of this research is to designand implement a security mechanism based on the N-Fi system and hopefully it tackleschallenges on V2R telematic systems. Experiments on the accuracy of V2R were conductedand the results showed that the proposed platform performs successfully under theenvironment with various traffic situations.
