Tube Element LED with Active Convection System

摘要

Tube Element LED (TElement LED) was a break-through invention for LED package technology. This paper introduces the most recent development of heat dissipation technology for TElement LED. Previously only passive convection system was applied to TElement LED. To further improve heat dissipation, we invented active convection system for TElement LED. This newly developed technology can efficiently reduce LED micro-chips' ambient temperature and thus extends LED's life. In addition, it can also better work with remote phosphor technology (RPT) to resolve high decay and low luminous maintenance problems. Finally, this new technology can be rapidly industrialized with little adjustment of existing COB LED package production line.
