With a low carbon economy sweeping across the world, low carbon, as a completely new concept and method, is adopted in a larger scope. Nevertheless, traffic pollution is becoming one of the most serious environmental threats after increasing industry, and undoubtedly the CO_2 emission produced by vehicles becomes a threat to the environment. Many 3PL enterprises, to meet customers' requirements and follow the environmental protection trend, take strong measures to reduce CO_2 emissions.This paper takes Deutsche Post DHL (hereafter referred as DPDHL) as an example, and introduces the "GoGreen" project, expounding how DPDHL reduced carbon and what profit it gained from this program.
