摘要

With the continuous growth of the vehicle population in China, automotive fuel consumption increases rapidly, bringing tremendous pressure on energy sources of China. Based on a domestic and foreign literature review, the concepts of power consumption, energy state, and energy utilization are put forward by this paper. This paper establishes the model of energy utilization ratio using the idea of free driving distance, and calculates the energy utilization rate under the running condition of light vehicles. The energy utilization rate obtained was less than 40 percent, the research results show it has a great potential for complete energy utilization, providing a research direction for automobile safety, energy conservation, and environmental protection.
