This paper deals with a method of setting the current distribution on single dipole arms in such a way as to enable its radiating characteristics to be generalized. Therewith, the capability of arms to have an arbitrary orientation and non-traditional excitation with a phase shift introduced into the arms currents together with a number of features allowing consideration of dipole printed-circuit implementation, is taken into account. The option was examined for proposed method to be extended to the analysis of multiple-dipole antenna systems with arbitrary parameters of individual dipoles.
