A novel embolic materials of magnetic composite microspheres

BF/PU microspheres have good biocompatibility and can embolize AVM models of different flow and have many advantages such as convenient operation, safe embolization and so on. Embolization can be effective to a small terminal branch of arterial blood vessels, no recanalization or recurrence. It is a novel non-cytotoxic, non-mutagenic and poorly thrombogenic polyurethane that could be used as a material for AVM and endovascular procedures.
