摘要

Critical areas for cell adhesion on micropatterned surfaces were defined, and the determination approach was suggested. By controlling adhesion of single and mutiple cells on RGD microislands on the background of PEG hydrogels, we found that osteogenic and adipogenicc differentiations of MSC were positively related to their contact extent. Effects of cell shape on differentiation were also revealed semi-quantitatively.
