Anterior cruciate ligament regeneration using Col-I/PVA copolymer in miniature pig model

The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is the most commonly injured ligament of the knee, but it is difficult to treat serious ACL injury. Fortunately, the tissue engineering provides new ideas and methods to the treatment of ACL. In this study, type collagen and polyvinyl alcohol (Col-I/PVA) copolymer were adopted to study tissue engineering ligament.
