These significant advantages concerning architecture, mechanical strength, mineralization and in vivo osteogenesis suggest that the 3D-printed MBG scaffolds may be an excellent candidate for bone regeneration. The modified 3D-printing method can be widely used for the preparation of other inorganic degradable scaffolds.
