摘要

In conclusion, we developed an efficient synthetic process for the exclusive γ-conjugation of the glutamic acid moiety of FA. Selective lithiation in the γ-position followed by conjugation to bromo-hexanol yielded the desired product with an -OH group available for further conjugation with other bioactive molecules. This method has general applicability in targeted drug delivery.
