Material Properties of Chelate-setting α-Tricalcium Phosphate Cement Using Inositol Hexaphosphate

In the present study, to enhance the handling ability and anti-washout ability of cement, the effect of mixing solutions on handling ability and anti-washout ability of IP6-α-TCP cement was examined. The handling ability of the IP6-α-TCP cement paste using Cit including Alg was improved, and all the cement pastes prepared were shown resistance against washout. The IP6-α-TCP cement may have possibility to apply minimal-invasive treatment as injectable cement.
