Water uptake by monocalcium phosphate monohydrate and monocalcium phosphate anhydrous at different humidity

摘要

1. MCPM is quite stable up to humidity around 60%. 2. A MCPA to MCPM transformation is always present, but at humidity below 40% some MCPA will still be present. 3. MCPA could be used as a buffer, preventing water to start the setting reaction, in brushite cements at low humidity.
