Intracellular stimuli-responsive protein end-capped mesoporous silica nanoparticles for targeted drug delivery

In summary, we fabricated biocompatible collagen and albumin end-capped mesoporous silica nanoparticles for intracellular redox and pH responsive drug delivery systems, respectively. The mechanisms of cells specific endocytosis of the systems were elucidated.
