摘要

The gene delivery capability of this vector will be triggered by an ubiquitous enzyme, Hase, that cleaves the large HA polymer chains to suitable sizes to be internalised by CD44 positive cells by endocytosis. The localised delivery of such a nonviral delivery vector at a particular surgical location would allow controlled release of the vector with minimal systemic exposure and hence potentially provide a solution for in vivo transfection.
