THE STUDY ON THE RISK ASSESSMENT OF INTRODCUING THE GREEN SUPPLY CHAIN

Global warming causes climate abnormality, iceberg melts and ecosystem abnormality. To slow down global warming influence, the wave of green environmental protection is become popular. EU environmental protection laws, Japanese environmental protection laws, China environmental protection laws bring new impact to semiconductor industry of Taiwan, and push the related industry to build the green product supply chain. There are many uncertain factors when we build the chain and caused some risks. This research is to investigate the risk of supply chain after green product was implemented and evaluate the risk level. The research is done by way of studying the document of GSC and thoroughly interview, discussed with program responser and come out this questionnaire with total 79 items for the risk of green supply chain management. This questionnaire was sent to the experts of semiconductor industry, by statistics analysis, we got the conclusion as followings. (i)The internal factors of green supply chain risk include green purchase, green stock, stock cost, human resources, green investment, bad communication of supply chain's information, green norm failure, eco design, manufacturing procedure and manufacturing cost. (ii)The external factors of green supply chain risk include international situation, international trade, market evaluation, regional restriction of trade, green technology, green process, supplier manage oneself, material controls, green tested and green guarantee. (iii)The most important items of internal green supply chain risk include design expend of green manufacturing and packing, invest in software and hardware, increase in financial contribution, difficulty of material tested. (iv)The most important items of external green supply chain risk include price increase by green laws, process change by green material discover, process change by eco-material discover, the different information system between the upstream and downstream firms, loss of product test report, the limited increase by EU green norms, the different government green norms.
