With the arrival of new age featured by 3G,there is a comprehensive restructuring for China communications industry.The six original operators have been integrated into three operatorsChina Mobile,China Telecom and China Unicom,all of which cover both mobile and fixed business service.With the resource collocation,the three pillars of market competition environment has been built.For the development of Chinese telecom operators,it is very important to establish a good competitive environment in the promotion of the industry.Only the orderly competition between operators can promote the healthy development of the 3G industry.This article starts from the domestic three operators' foundations.Then it states the competition ability for every operator in the 3G market.At last the paper makes further discussion about the development strategy for 3G operators in the future.
