摘要

MoSi2,which has good electrical and thermal conductivity,good mechanical properties and excellent high temperature oxidation resistance,is widely used as heating elements.The synthesis of MoSi2 is the key step in the preparation of MoSi2 heating elements,because the property of the MoSi2 heating elements is highly related to the quality of MoSi2 powder.In this work,MoSi2 was synthesized by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS),using milled Mo powder and Si powder as raw materials.The XRD and SEM results showed that the particle size and the morphology of raw materials had obvious effect on phase composition and morphology of MoSi2 synthesized by SHS method.
