摘要

Microseismic monitoring technology is a geophysical technology which monitors the stability of surrounding rock in underground caverns by the observation and analysis of the microseismic events in production activities. This paper firstly introduces the history of microsiemic monitoring technology and its principle, and then gets some conclusions by the application to Jinping-Ⅰ hydropower station. At last with its prospect it will play an important role in the future.
