The study focuses on the effects about the column and side wall of one-layer single-column subway station structure under the earthquake by numerical software based on time-history analysis method.The study found that the bending moment and shear force of the column and side wall structure will change with time, and the time which the maximum bending moment and shear force of each node reached is not the same.The maximum bending moment and shear force of the bottom of the column is greater than those of the top and the middle.The side wall is similar as the column.In the case of the same geological environment, the bending moment and shear force of structures increase with seismic intensity.For the different geological environment, the bending moment and shear force of the column and side wall have markedly difference under an earthquake.These results show that the bottom of column and side wall of one-layer single-column subway station structure is the most disadvantageous position in the seismic response, which should be pain attention to by the designing engineers.
