The distributed flexible network PV (photovoltaic) system is a kind of dc micro-grid which is composed of several PV generation systems, a battery bank and loads. Controller of each converter takes local information and control the converter autonomously. However, there are several problems like voltage rise in dc link causing loss of maximum power control by sudden change of circumstances like as the change of irradiance and load. The authors propose introducing MAS (multi-agent system) to solve those problems. The control method is implemented and validated by experiment. Agents are implemented through DSP (digital signal processor) and CAN (controller area network) communication.
